At Citadel, we are always striving to make improvements. From our innovative therapeutic programs to our state of the art medical services, our goal is to provide an unparalleled standard of care.

Join us as we reflect on an eventful month!

National Skilled Nursing Care Week 2018 was observed from May 13th-19th. Throughout the week and month of May, we celebrated this holiday with a variety of activities and celebrations.

For Mothers Day, we held a special concert to honor the Mothers and Grandmothers in our facility.

We served cake and provided beautiful flowers for the all of the ladies.

For our Casino Royale night, we had blackjack, darts, and roulette.

Residents competed for the chance to win prizes while enjoying some cold refreshments.

To celebrate our residents and staff, we held a spa day with manicures and massages for all.

It was a nice chance to unwind during a busy week!

The Citadel Spring Carnival was a great time complete with popcorn, cotton candy, snowcones, limbo, dancing and more!

This year’s Nursing Home Week theme was “Celebrating Life’s Stories” and was all about celebrating the life of some of our Veterans and residents we consider our heroes. For Veteran’s appreciation day, residents received certificates commending them for their service!

After presenting them with their awards, we hosted a party to honor the incredible life of our Veterans.

The party continued with a jazz performance and happy hour.

Residents sang along to classical jazz and showed off some moves!

Catholic Mass with Fr. Perez always draws a crowd.

Catholic residents enjoy listening to his sermons and joining in group prayer.

National Red Nose Day is a fundraising campaign aimed at bringing people together and raising awareness of child poverty in the world. Residents and staff alike participated in the charitable day by wearing the signature red noses.
