At Citadel, we are always striving to make improvements. From our innovative therapeutic programs to our state of the art medical services, our goal is to provide an unparalleled standard of care.
Join us as we reflect on an eventful month!
It’s official – Summer of 2018 has come and gone. The days are growing shorter and the temperature’s starting to drop here in New York. How have our residents coped with the changing of the seasons? Well, the party hasn’t stopped here at Kingsbridge!
We kept out blood flowing and heart rate up with Bliss Fit with Kim!
We pride ourselves in making our workouts accessible for residents of all abilities – which is why Bliss Fit with Kim and Balloon Swat are great activities for chair bound residents.
We played music and hummed along to our favorite songs, all while getting a great upper body workout.
Residents were able to come together and embrace gratitude and faith through our Catholic mass, Christian worship, and Jewish services for Yom Kippur and Rosh Hashanah.
We couldn’t believe the overwhelming support our staff members received from residents this Labor Day!
Not only did they reflect fondly on their working years and celebrate retirement, but they also reached out and thanked all the nurses, aides and administrative staff working hard every day to ensure they return home to their loved ones.
Visitors young and old came together to visit in celebration of Grandparents Day! We played board games, served coffee, juice, and cake and watched our residents reminisce and make plans for the future. Spending time with loved ones is so important in your loved one’s recovery. We were so pleased with the turnout and know all of our residents felt unconditional love and support.
This month, one of our residents hit a very amazing milestone! Ms. Dominguez is now 110!
We celebrated with ice cream and cake on behalf of Ms. Dominguez and all of our other recent birthdays.
All in all, it was a great month here at Kingsbridge. We know Autumn of 2018 will bring amazing memories and good health to all our residents. We’re ready for you, October!
